Biography: Author of the books The Port of Los Angeles and Belladonna Series No. 8 (with Tina Darragh and Diane Ward). Her poetry, reviews and essays have been published in many print and online journals including How2, Jacket, Columbia Poetry Review, Ecopoetics, XCP: Cross-Cultural Poetics, Dandelion, Tinfish, Kiosk and others. She is also the author of numerous chapbooks including Apache Roadkill, Sacking the Henwife, Entropic Liberties (with Jonathan Skinner), break / fast and others. Her work has been translated into Spanish and published in several journals in Mexico. She edits and publishes the imprint Palm Press. Her current projects include editing the collection Imaginary Syllabi, a multi-author volume that explores utopian and progressive pedagogies in the writing classroom and conducting research for her next book, My Appalachia. She teaches at California State University Long Beach in Long Beach, California where she lives on an island with her family.Contact:
