BHSEC Queens Student Cherie Qu Discovers, Coauthors Study on New Species of Sea Anemones

Qu, a senior attending Bard High School Early College Queens, helped make the discovery through her work as a research intern at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The research study, which describes two new species of burrowing sea anemones that inhabit a deep-sea canyon off the coast of Ireland, appears in the current issue of the journal American Museum Novitates.
