Natalie Lunn Technical Theater Award Accepting Applications

The Natalie Lunn Technical Theater Award supports Bard College students interested in summer internships in technical theater and design. Each year, two Bard students receive financial support for summer internships in technical theater. For the Natalie Lunn Traveling Internship Award, a student receives $3000 to work with a professional theater, company, or designer of the student’s choice. The Natalie Lunn Bard SummerScape Internship Award recipient receives $2000 to work at SummerScape. Students are responsible for obtaining their own internships.   The Natalie Award has been established by Bard alumni/ae and friends of former Technical Director and Associate Professor of Drama and Dance Natalie Lunn, to honor and continue her legacy. During her nearly three decades at the college, Natalie was a mentor, friend, and artistic co-conspirator to countless students both during their years at Bard and long after graduation. The Award’s goal is to continue her remarkable mission of supporting and encouraging Bard students interested in technical theater and design.

Applications are accepted February 1, 2018 - March 14, 2018

HOW TO APPLY

All applicants for the Natalie Award must be current Bard College students in good standing. The award is open to all students from any department at the college, including graduating seniors.

Students may apply for only one award each year, either the Bard SummerScape Award of $2000 or the Traveling Award of $3000, for an internship or assistantship with a professional theater, company, or designer of the student’s choice.

All internship applications are the responsibility of the student.
