Center for Civic Engagement: Istanbul Conference

Students, faculty, and alumni/ae from institutions in the Bard network gathered for a four-day conference in Istanbul, Turkey, in March 2014, entitled “The Liberal Arts, Civic Engagement and Social Entrepreneurship: The Role of College and University Students.” Twenty-eight students from institutions in Bard’s global network of affiliated institutions participated, honing leadership skills and working on individual service projects.
