Are you interested in learning the basics of Premiere to edit your film, music video, or other piece of media, but feel frustrated and confused by all the video tutorials out there and are seeking hands-on instruction? A first-year film student wanting to get a jump-start on your video editing skills before taking Electronic Media Workshop? Wanting to add an edited video component to your final project for a class?2:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST/GMT-5
Then you should come take our Beginner's Guide to Premiere Pro workshop on Friday, 11/14 from 2-4PM at the Center for Experimental Humanities (1399 Annandale Rd.)! This 2 hour workshop/crash course will provide you with a solid foundational understanding of Premiere, as well as best practices for footage handling and storage, giving you the confidence to explore and build off this knowledge in the future!

If you are bringing your own laptop, make sure you have Premiere Pro 2025 downloaded in advance. All Bard students, faculty and staff can request a temporary Adobe CC license to download Premiere via this link. If you cannot bring your own laptop, or are outside the Bard network, please contact [email protected] for further instruction.
