A BardWrites Event
The Office of Alumni/ae Affairs and Career Development Office presents a special BardWrites event, featuring author and Bardian Nikkya Hargrove ’05, for a discussion about personal essay, memoir, and equity in publishing. Nikkya’s work has been published by outlets including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Guardian. Her much anticipated debut memoir, Mama: A Black, Queer Woman’s Journey to Motherhood (Algonquin), is due for publication in fall 2022. Nikkya is also a member of Bard’s Board of Governors and is chair of the alumni/ae Diversity Committee.
