Bard College Conservatory of Music Presents

Degree Recital: Jimmy Berger, piano

Jimmy Berger is completing his final year at the Bard College Conservatory of Music, studying piano with Gilles Vonsattel. He has won first prize in several piano competitions including the Brevard Music Center, Claudette Sorel, and Nazareth College Piano Competitions, and attended several summer music festivals, most recently the Maine Chamber Music Seminar at Snow Pond and the Brevard Music Center. He has performed widely in Buffalo, New York, made a concert tour of South Africa with Buffalo Suzuki Strings in 2015, and appeared with the Bard Conservatory Orchestra under maestro James Bagwell. He completed his senior project on "The Problem of Universals" for his second major in philosophy.
