The Network Collaborative course on "Freedom of Expression" is making available to the public a series of online lectures. On April 17, Emily Dische-Becker, writer, organizer and curator living in Berlin will discuss "On Conflation and Comparison: The politics and policing of memory in Germany." Dische-Becker, a Bard alum, is the Germany director of Diaspora Alliance, as well as a researcher for Forensis/Forensic Architecture, and is on the steering committee of the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism. From 2005 to 2013, Emily lived in Beirut where she worked as a journalist and researcher. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session.
