Imagining a Finer Future | Hunter Lovins and Bill McKibben | Book Launch + Discussion
Join author and sustainable business pioneer Hunter Lovins and climate leader + Founder of 350.org Bill McKibben for a discussion on our collective future: how can we transform business on to a sustainable path? Hunter Lovins has recently published A Finer Future which gathers the evidence and delivers the essential blueprint for an economy that will rally communities, companies, and countries to create a world that works for 100% of humanity.
We will soon be ten billion people on this one planet, and yet, it is not too late. This is a time of extraordinary peril, but also one of extraordinary promise. Hear from Lovins and McKibben on their vision for the future, and come ready to share your own vision.

L. Hunter Lovins is the President and Founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions. A renowned author and champion of sustainable development for over 40 years, Hunter has consulted on business, economic development, sustainable agriculture, energy, water, security, and climate policies for scores of governments, communities, and companies worldwide. Lovins is the author of, Natural Capitalism, and The Way Out: Kickstarting Capitalism To Save Our Economic Ass. Her latest book is entitled A Finer Future.
Bill McKIbben is Founder and Senior Advisor at 350.org and is the Schumann Distinguished Professor in Residence at Middlebury College in Vermont. He is a 2014 recipient of the Right Livelihood Prize, sometimes called the ‘alternative Nobel’ and is a founding fellow of the Sanders Institute. He has written a dozen books about the environment, including his first, The End of Nature, published in 1989, and his most recent, Oil and Honey.
A book signing by Hunter Lovins will take place at the conclusion of the event. Copies of A Finer Future will also be available for sale. Seating is limited and a ticket is required. Light refreshments provided. Contact Caitlin O'Donnell with any questions.
