Center for Curatorial Studies Presents
Family Day
Saturday, July 18, 2026
Hessel Museum of Art, CCS Bard
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT/GMT-4
On July 18th, the Hessel Museum of Art will hold its first Family Day event, organized in conjunction with our summer exhibitions and in collaboration with local vendors and community organizations. Family Day will welcome visitors of all ages to learn, create, and play, through guided tours of the exhibitions, drop-in art activities inspired by the works on view, and outdoor games staged across our grounds.12:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT/GMT-4
For our drop-in art activities, we are proud to partner with The DRAW, a Kingston-based organization providing arts education programs for people of all ages. These activities will find their inspiration in the works on view made by Uman, Marilou Schultz, and Betty Parsons, giving participants an opportunity to create their own expressions through color and form, and leave the museum with a work of their own.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration encouraged here.
