Ravish Momin 

Bard Electronic Music is pleased to welcome Indian-born drummer, electronic music producer and educator Ravish Momin, aka Sunken Cages, for a free concert. His music is made by combining acoustic and electronic drum sounds which are enhanced by live triggering of sounds and textures, layering of loops, and manipulating them improvisationally in performance. While rooted in Indian folk and Black music traditions, Sunken Cages is also influenced by the street sounds of South African G’com, Angolan Kuduro, and Egyptian Mahraganat.
