This is a reminder that our Synthetic Media Roundtable discussion on GenAI will take place this evening at Stevenson Library from 4-5:30 PM. In addition to the previously announced speakers, we will also be joined by Assistant Professor of American and Indigenous Studies and Artist-in-Residence Suzanne Kite. Please see below for the updated speaker list, and we hope to see you there!
In this opening round table discussion, panelists from across disciplines will discuss ways GenAI is impacting their respective fields. We will also discuss the language we use, who shapes the terms and vocabulary we are using, and how we might develop a language of critique and a language of possibility.
