Hannah Arendt: Facing Tyranny Premieres June 27 on PBS
Hannah Arendt: Facing Tyranny, a new feature documentary about the life and work of the German-American political philosopher and writer will premiere nationwide on June 27 at 9 pm ET on PBS. While the film focuses on her books and essays, which are discussed on screen by international experts of her work including Founder and Academic Director of the Hannah Arendt Center at Bard Roger Berkowitz, Arendt’s life experiences anchor the film. Bard College President Leon Botstein, a former student and colleague of Arendt, is also interviewed on camera.
