Six Bard Student Athletes Honored in the 2024 Division III Academic All-District At-Large Teams

Six players from Bard College’s women’s lacrosse and men’s volleyball teams have been honored in the 2024 Division III Academic All-District At-Large Teams, an award that recognizes the nation’s top student athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom. Maya Junkins ’25, Maggy Peyton ’25, Izzi Popolizio ’25, and Morgan Ruhle ’25 were honored from the women’s lacrosse team, and Georgi Chikolov ’26 and Quinn Lewis ’26 were honored from the men’s volleyball team. To be nominated for an At-Large Academic All-District Team, an athlete must have a GPA of 3.50 or above and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They have to have competed in 90% of the team’s total games played or have started 66% of the team's total games.
