Mustafa Mayar MA ’27.
Bard College student Mustafa Mayar MA ’27 has been named a fellow in Humanities at Hertog, an online seminar series by the Hertog Foundation. For the spring 2026 seminar, Mayar, who is enrolled in Bard’s Master of Arts program in Global Studies, is one of 45 fellows accepted and will study works such as Dante’s Divine Comedy, works by Mark Twain, and The Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes. Since 2020, the Humanities at Hertog program has aimed to provide a rigorous and exemplary virtual educational experience to a small cohort of fellows who share a love of ideas, guided by a passionate teacher. The courses offered through the Humanities program allow fellows to reflect on what great texts bring to bear on enduring questions as well as how to begin a community in conversation.
