Award-Winning Gothic Fiction Writer Peter Straub To Give Reading at Bard College on November 17
Peter Straub was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1943. He is the author of 17 novels, four novellas, five short story collections, and five books of poetry. His work has been translated into more than twenty languages. In addition to his six Bram Stoker Awards, he has won the British Fantasy Award, two International Horror Guild Awards, and two World Fantasy awards, among other honors. He is a member of the Horror Writers Association, Mystery Writers of America, PEN, and the Adams Round Table. Straub has co-authored two novels, The Talisman (1984) and Black House (2001), with Stephen King.
