Members of Bard College Soccer Teams Honored by 2025 College Sports Communicators

Six members of the Bard College women's soccer team and four members of the men’s soccer team have been honored as members of the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-District At-Large Team, an award that recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. The students honored on the women’s team were Carina Cooke ’26, McKenna Reeves ’26, Camila Sandaal ’27, Goldie Siff ’28, Mahlia Slaiby ’27, and Natalie Wing ’28. The students honored on the men’s team were Brandon Alchy ’27, Sam Gerber ’26, Emmett Olson ’26, and Ben Steketee ’26.
                                  
Cooke, an architecture major, is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree and now a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. Reeves, a biology major, is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree and a first-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. Sandaal, a chemistry major, is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic and CSC Academic All-District honoree. Siff, a mathematics major, is a Liberty League All-Academic honoree and a first-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. Slaiby, a written arts major, is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree as well as a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. And Wing, an arts history major, is a Liberty League All-Academic honoree and a first time CSC Academic All-District honoree.

Alchy, an economics major, is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree and a first time CSC Academic All-District. Gerber, a mathematics and economics major, is a three-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree and now a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. Olson, a biology major, is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree as well as a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. And Olson, a biology major, is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree as well as a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree.

To be nominated for the At-Large Academic All-District Team, the athlete must have a GPA of 3.50 or above and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. The student-athlete has to have competed in 90% of the Team's total games played or have started 66% of the Team's total games.
