Film critic, Village Voice; has written about film, video, art, and music for CinemaScope, Arthur, Computer Gaming World, Kunstforum, Millennium Film Journal, and other publications. Author, From Sun Tzu to Xbox: War and Video Games (2006). Director, New York Underground Film Festival (1995–2005). Has lectured and curated at the Flaherty Film Seminar (2002), Cinematexas, Museum of Modern Art, Yale Center for British Art, and other venues. At Bard since 2005.
