Charlotte Clapham is an assistant professor of data analytics within the Division of Science, Mathematics, and Computing at Bard College. She received her PhD in biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Health and her B.A in mathematics at Carleton College. Her research applications include aging, mental health, sleep, and addiction. She is particularly interested in methodologies that address challenges relating to sparse data and data with significant measurement error, particularly in the context of modeling and latent subpopulation identification. She is also passionate about wearable device data, EMA data, and smartphone data. Her work is motivated by a strong commitment to addressing public health issues.
