Minseung Kim
Visiting Assistant Professor of Korean Literature & Language
Minseung Kim is a scholar of modern Korean literature whose research focuses on colonial Korean literature, transnational literary history, discourses on East Asia, translations, and textual and human border-crossings across East Asia in the early twentieth century. Joining Bard in Fall 2026, she is interested in teaching Korean language courses at all levels, as well as courses on Korean literature and film that cover topics ranging from Korean migration, exile, and diaspora in the early twentieth century to cultural discourses on contemporary “K-content.
