Students will have the opportunity to work on present ideas through a workshop format.
The Art of Leadership Workshop
Led by keynote presenter TJ Kostecky, focused on improving leadership and communication skills.
Students will participate in several verbal & non-verbal exercises in an interactive workshop format.
Demystifying the Black Hole
Led by Eileen Whitener ‘09, MAT ‘13, Technical Writer at Apprentice.io. Where do your applications go?
Examining and understanding application expectations, processes, and systems around the application and hiring process.
Networking Reception at Blithewood
Meet local alumni/ae and professionals working in various industries, and practice connecting with professionals of all ages and stages.
What to Expect and How to Prepare
Gain insight from Hiring Managers & Human Resource professionals. Hear from HR staff working in various fields
about what they are looking for in the hiring process, how to prepare for confidence in the interview, and your application.
NYC: Career Pathways - Panels & Connecting with Alumni/ae
Students will hear from an alumni/ae panel about how to translate a liberal arts education into a successful career. Alumni/ae panels will be held throughout the day and will focus on career pathways in professional fields such as Social Justice, Communications, International Affairs, Government, and more. The full day of professional panels will conclude in a fun and engaging networking session with alumni/ae living and working in the NYC area.
