The Bard MAT has partnered with Sarah Lawrence College (SLC) to host a joint information session for both SLC and Bard students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in teaching at the early childhood, elementary, or secondary level. Through Bard’s MAT degree, graduates can pursue NYS certification to teach grades 7-12 in the following areas: biology, history/social studies, literature/English, mathematics, and Spanish. Through the Art of Teaching program at Sarah Lawrence, students can pursue NYS certification to teach birth to grade 6.6:30 pm – 7:30 pm EST/GMT-5
