Got too many pairs of old jeans and not enough fun upcycled totes? Don't have any pairs of old jeans but still want a jote? We've got you covered! 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST/GMT-5
Come on down to Stevenson Library (2nd floor) THIS Friday 3/6 for another workshop in our Textile Technologies series taught by Media Corps member and Makerspace co-founder Riley Farberman, hosted in collaboration with Experimental Humanities, Stevenson Library, and the Office of Sustainability; learn how to turn a pair of your old jeans into a tote bag or purse! Don't have any jeans you want to part with? No problem! Extras will be provided by Free Use.
Some sewing experience is required; if you've taken an introductory sewing class with Riley and are looking for an extra challenge, this workshop is for you! See attached for more info.
Don't be joteless. Questions/RSVPs: [email protected]. RSVPs are required for this event, and are accepted on a first come/first serve basis.
