Eid Al-Fitr is one of the Muslim holiday that is celebrated after a month long fasting from dawn to dusk during my Ramadan, which is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. Eid is celebrated for the first three days of Shawwal month and Muslims around the world celebrate it by visiting families and relatives. Most people receive Eidi (Eid gifts) which can be mostly money from their family elders and relatives. This year, MSO at Bard will be having an interfaith dinner with students of other faiths on campus and sharing the experience of fasting for a whole month and this happy celebration together with Bard students. RSVP is required.6:00 pm – 8:30 pm EDT/GMT-4
