Please join us for the first Literature Salon of the semester! We are excited to speak with Professor Daniel Williams, who will discuss his forthcoming monograph, The Art of Uncertainty: Probable Realism and the Victorian Novel (Cambridge, 2024) through the lens of the craft of composing introductions to critical writing. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to read excerpts from Williams’ introduction to the book and to one of its chapters prior to the session.
