Pulso de Barro (pulse of clay) is an inclusive platform where you can explore music, dance, and native traditions. Led by Mateo Cano (Bard Alum) and Maria Flores, this Fandango Circle will focus on traditional Son Jarocho music and dance from Mexico. Son jarocho, “the sound of Veracruz,” was born in the south of Mexico as an amalgamation of Spanish, West African, and indigenous influences, and has evolved for more than 200 years.3:10 pm – 4:30 pm EDT/GMT-4
