**First broadcast on Norwegian public television in 2009 by the national broadcaster NRK, this seven-hour uninterrupted train journey on the scenic rail line connecting Oslo to Bergen in Norway is widely recognized as the first instance of Slow TV. Despite its departure from conventional standards of compelling television, the program was met with overwhelming approval from audiences who enjoyed its calming atmosphere and visually appealing display of the Norwegian landscape, with ¼ of Norwegians tuned into the program at any given time.
