Bard MBA in Sustainability Ranked #1 for Impact in “Better World MBA” Rankings

The MBA in Sustainability at Bard College has been ranked the top MBA globally for Impact in 2025 by Corporate Knights, a sustainable-economy media and research organization. Their “Better World MBA” rankings evaluated 179 programs in terms of sustainability, focusing on the impact schools’ alumni have after graduation. Alumni from Bard’s MBA program have gone on to work as sustainability executives at Etsy and Deutsche Bank, consultants at Guidehouse, and founded their own sustainability-focused businesses. Corporate Knights noted that Bard is one of the few programs specializing its MBA in sustainability, saying, “They are not shy about putting the program’s sustainability focus front and centre.”
The Bard MBA has been named the #1 Impact MBA in the US for the last five years by the Princeton Review. The Review also ranked the Bard MBA as #1 for Non-Profit Management last year. The Corporate Knights ranking makes Bard the #1 MBA based on impact worldwide.
