Bard Mens’ and Women’s Tennis Teams Recognized As ITA All-Academic Teams for 2025-26

The Bard women’s and men’s tennis teams were recognized as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic teams for academic year 2025-26. ITA Academic Awards are given to tennis teams with a 3.2 grade point average, representing the interconnection of college sports and academics. Ten students were also honored as ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 season. Six members of the Bard College women’s team were honored: Maria Castro ’29, Catherine Chapel ’29, Lola Greene ’29, Patricia Santos ’28, Jesse Radzik ’28, and Paige Houghton ’26. Four members of the men’s team were recognized: first-years Blake Kendall ’29, Peter Trimble ’29, Faisal Jones ’26, and Thanasis Kostikas ’26.
“Congrats to these ITA scholar athletes setting the standard both on and off the court,” said Head Coach Mandy Gamble. “Our tennis programs at Bard consistently graduate classes who create bright futures for themselves from the leadership lessons learned on the team, and then are able to flourish in the real world.”
