Bard NYC Hosts its Inaugural Open House Weekend
On October 12 and 13, Bard NYC welcomed prospective students, staff, and faculty to its inaugural Open House weekend. Visitors were introduced to the program’s academics, internships, and residential life and received a taste of living and studying in New York City, exploring the vibrant cultural life of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The weekend also featured Bard NYC’s first Overnight Experience, which offered prospective students the opportunity to reside in the residence hall to connect with peers and experience the Bard NYC program firsthand.
Current students and returning alumni were present to welcome visitors and share their perspectives in panel discussions and activities. Close collaboration between the staff, faculty, students, and alumni made both the Open House and Overnight Experience a success. The deadline for applications to attend Bard NYC for the upcoming spring semester is November 1.
