Baroque dance specialist Carlos Fittante (CUNY) brings sprezzatura—or the early modern art of making things look easy—to Bard. In this workshop, students will learn about early modern European dance forms, with particular attention to courtly dances and operatic gesture. We will be dancing: please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.The workshop is for students of MUS 176 (How to be a Renaissance Person), as well as students of the Dance program.
