Bard MFA students spend three intensive summers in residence at Bard, working with leading artists in the fields of painting, writing, photography, sculpture, film/video, and music/sound. During the winter months, students continue work on independent projects related to their field of study. Bard MFA offers students the opportunity to receive cross-disciplinary feedback and a broader and deeper response from a community of artists, in contrast to the departmental approach favored by traditional MFA programs.

All events are free and open to the public. For further information, visit the website www.bard.edu/mfa, e-mail [email protected], or call 845-758-7483. The exhibition is coordinated by Sarah Higgins, M.A. candidate, Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard.
