D. T. Max, David Foster Wallace Biographer and New Yorker Writer, to Give Reading at Bard College on Monday, March 31

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—On Monday, March 31, at Bard College, biographer and New Yorker staff writer D. T. Max will read from his highly acclaimed biography of David Foster Wallace, Every Love Story Is a Ghost Story, a New York Times bestseller that Vanity Fair called “as illuminating, multifaceted, and serious an estimation of David Foster Wallace’s life and work as we can hope to find.” Max will be introduced by novelist and Bard literature professor Bradford Morrow. The reading, presented as part of Morrow’s Innovative Contemporary Fiction Reading Series, takes place at 2:30 p.m. in Weis Cinema in the Bertelsmann Campus Center. It is free and open to the public; no reservations are required.

In addition to Every Love Story Is a Ghost Story, D. T. Max is the author of the critically praised The Family That Couldn’t Sleep: A Medical History. He is a graduate of Harvard University and lives in New Jersey.
