Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College (Bard MFA) Presents Class of 2017 Thesis Exhibition, July 16–23
Opening Reception Takes Place Saturday, July 16 at Bard College Exhibition Center (UBS Gallery) in Red Hook
ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—The Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College (Bard MFA) will present its Class of 2017 thesis exhibition July 16–23 at the Bard College Exhibition Center (UBS Gallery) at 29 O’Callaghan Lane in Red Hook, New York, with an opening reception on Saturday, July 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.In addition, evening presentations of performances, time-based works, and readings by Bard MFA candidates will take place on the Bard College campus, July 18–21. For a complete schedule, please visit www.bard.edu/mfa. The exhibition and presentations are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available in the lot at the 7401 South Broadway and on Garden Street.
The 2017 MFA candidates are: Michele Abramowitz, Nicholas Chiarella, Phoebe d'Heurle, Alan Danielson, Mel Elberg, Joshua Escobar, Hadi Fallahpisheh, Eric Farber, Brian Fernandes-Halloran, Amanda Friedman, Maryam Hoseini, Judith Kakon, Carmen von Kende, Kyle Clyd, Anne Libby, Ryan Lucero, Annabeth Marks, Megan Plunkett, Amy Ruhl, Marianne Shaneen, Caiti Slegr, Charlie Smith, and Tran Truong.
Exhibition curators are Emer Grant and Lisa Long, Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (CCS Bard).
