The event, “A Celebration of Blithewood Garden: 115 Years of Beauty on the Hudson,” includes a garden party on the Blithewood lawn, as well as a panel discussion featuring leading garden historians and preservationists. Located in the heart of the Hudson River National Historic Landmarks District and overlooking the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains, Blithewood Garden is considered a nationally significant Beaux Arts gem. It takes place from 2 to 4 p.m., rain or shine, on the lawn outside Blithewood Mansion, the research and conference facility of the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College.
