EXHIBITION OF WORKS BY NEW YORKER CARTOONIST DANNY SHANAHAN WILL BE ON VIEW AT BARD'S BERTELSMANN CAMPUS CENTER FROM NOVEMBER 14 THROUGH 26 Opening of the exhibition Art from the New Yorker: Covers and Drawings will feature a talk by Shanahan followed by

ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—Cartoonist Danny Shanahan, who has been a regular contributor to the New Yorker for 15 years and has published more than 650 drawings and covers in the magazine, will have an exhibition of his works in the Bertelsmann Campus Center at Bard College from Thursday, November 14, through Tuesday, November 26.

The exhibition, Art from the New Yorker: Covers and Drawings, will open on November 14 and feature a talk and slide show by Shanahan in the Weis Cinema at 7:00 p.m., followed by the gallery opening and reception in the George Ball Lounge at 7:30 p.m. (both in the Bertelsmann Campus Center). The exhibition, lecture, and reception are all open to the public without charge. The Bertelsmann Campus Center is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Shanahan, a resident of Rhinebeck, has had his work appear in Time, Newsweek, New York, Fortune, Playboy, and Esquire. His drawings have hung in galleries in Munich, London, New York City, and Washington, D.C., and his work is also included in the permanent collection of the James Thurber Museum in Columbus, Ohio.
