Chris Wood, the head men’s basketball coach at Bard, says, “Fundraising is an integral component of any NCAA Division III athletic program, and the Raptors Classic is a fun and exciting way to support athletics at Bard.” In the past, funds raised have been used for midwinter break trips involving competition with nonregional opponents and additional items that assist Bard student athletes in their pursuit of athletic excellence.
