Biography:B.A., Bard College; M.A., The City University of New York; Ph.D. Candidate, Wilfrid Laurier University. Most recently she served as Language & Thinking coordinator and taught First Year Seminar at the Honors College, a new partnership between Bard College and al Quds University in Abu Dis, Palestine. Prior to moving to Palestine she spent two years in Cairo, Egypt studying Arabic and researching British female medical missionaries to Egypt at the end of the nineteenth century. She is currently working with a colleague on a documentary-style project that explores the complex and ever changing relationship between female university students and education in the West Bank.
