Bard Foreign Scholarships
Nonrepayable grants are awarded to non-U.S. citizens on the basis of financial need and academic achievement and promise. Scholarships range from $5,000 to $26,500 annually for full-time enrollment.
International Loan
The basic terms of the loan are as follows:
- No interest is charged while the student is enrolled at Bard, nor is payment on the principal expected while the student is enrolled at Bard.
- Repayment of the loan principal and interest ensues one year from the date the student graduates from Bard. If the student withdraws from Bard prior to completing an undergraduate degree, repayment of the loan principal and interest begins immediately.
- The interest rate is 9 percent.
- Repayment is made over 4½ years with 1/10 of principal plus interest due every six months. The final payment is the remaining 1/5 of the principal payment plus interest.
Campus Employment
Students can apply for on-campus employment to help cover personal expenses.
