Cultural Appropriation Workshop- The International Student Organization will host a student-led workshop discussing the topic of cultural appropriation and finding ways to promote cultural sensitivity and competency.

Dessert and Cultural Exchange- Join the Foreign Language Tutors for a variety of activities highlighting their home cultures. Desserts and refreshments will be served.

The Career Development Office will provide resources detailing opportunities for work abroad. The Center for Civic Engagement will provide information regarding Bard’s global initiatives and conferences.
A representative from Bard’s Globalization and International Affairs program will also be present to discuss their semester and summer programs.

Screening: North Korean Millennials- Liberty in North Korea invites you to join for a documentary screening about North Korean Millennials and subsequent discussion.

World Noodles – The Office for International Student and Scholar Services and the International Student Organization invite you to join for an event to share noodle-based dishes from around the world.

The Myth of Global Citizenship- As part of the cross-network Global Citizenship class, students are invited to join for a special live-stream class that will involve participation from students on all Bard network campuses. Brought to you by the Global and International Studies Program.

International Dinner – Bard Abroad and IILE are taking over dinner at Kline. The night’s menu will consist of dishes from Bard’s network partners in Germany, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Hungary. We’ll be tabling too so you can learn more about opportunities abroad in these countries.

International Post-Grad Opportunities Q&A- Join Bard staff to talk about international and intercultural opportunities after graduation. Opportunities such as Fulbright, Watson, the AQB Fellowship, and more will be presented by faculty and staff who have participated or have experience with these programs.

Info Session- Trish Fleming, Bard’s Study Abroad Adviser, will offer a Study Abroad Info session for Bard Students detailing the study abroad process, exchange options, and due dates. This is a great session to attend before you start your planning!
