Three OSUN Civic Engagement colleagues visit Bard to meet with administrators, faculty, staff, and students. Their visit reinforces campus partnerships between Bard College Berlin, Universidad de Los Andes, Al Quds Bard College, and the Open Society University Network of which all are apart. Workshops for faculty, staff, and students will be announced and our guests will be at the Civic Engagement Pathways event on April 26 from 2:30–4:00 pm for a meet and greet with any who are interested! Their visit is sponsored by a travel grant through the OSUN Civic Engagement Initiative to support, expand and deepen intuitional partnerships and civic engagement collaborations across the network.

Legacies of Russian Imperialism

This teach-in will not only uncover some histories of Russian oppression and colonial domination within Ukrainian context, but will also include a panel discussion where students from other post-soviet countries will share their experience with Russification and how it affects their daily life.

Since the event is during lunch time, a free meal and drinks will be provided.

Now is your chance! 

We will explore some of Bard's most impressive natural gems with a trusted guide. You will learn the principles of tick safety, have the opportunity to ask questions, meet your non-human Bardian neighbors, and have the prowess to show your friends what you've discovered!

By the end of the walk, you'll know how to hike to Tivoli (though we aren't doing that walk this time), get to the famous Bard waterfall, find where mushrooms grow, and much MUCH more!
