Bard in Berlin Alumni/ae Spotlight
“A few months into my semester abroad I realized that it is normal to expect customers to pay for their coffee upon their departure rather than when they order it. Once the weather became nice enough, I saw blankets on outdoor seating at every restaurant, a gesture that I had never witnessed in the United States. Once compiled, each of these differences contribute to what constitutes a culture. Few people are fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to make their way into another nation’s culture, to learn from it and to become a more aware person because of it.”International Job and Volunteer Opportunities
