BCB Abroad Orientation
All Bard Abroad in Berlin programs begin with a comprehensive predeparture information session. Upon arrival on campus, students undertake a two-day orientation that focuses on program expectations (academic and behavioral), health and safety information, cultural adjustment strategies, and an introduction to life in Berlin.
Each semester at Bard College Berlin kicks off with the Berlin Weekend—personalized walking tours led by faculty, students, and staff through their favorite neighborhood. The arts faculty hosts an Open Studio at the end of each semester to publicly showcase student work. Other events organized include concerts, workshops, lectures, informal community meetings, dinners, sporting events, and cultural day trips. More about Student Activities
The Bard College Berlin campus is located in the residential district of Pankow and all buildings are within walking distance, including classrooms, dorms, cafeteria, and the Factory studio arts building.
