The student body at Bard College Berlin is small yet highly international, and it includes not only full-time BCB students but also visiting students from the Bard College network, the European Erasmus exchange network, and other partner institutions, as well as students from areas of crisis. BCB Abroad Orientation
All Bard Abroad in Berlin programs begin with a comprehensive predeparture information session. Upon arrival on campus, students undertake a two-day orientation that focuses on program expectations (academic and behavioral), health and safety information, cultural adjustment strategies, and an introduction to life in Berlin.

Each semester at Bard College Berlin kicks off with the Berlin Weekend—personalized walking tours led by faculty, students, and staff through their favorite neighborhood. The arts faculty hosts an Open Studio at the end of each semester to publicly showcase student work. Housing and Dining
Visiting juniors and Begin in Berlin students live in shared double rooms in dormitories or suite-style housing on campus. Meals are provided at the campus cafeteria using organic local ingredients. There is always a vegetarian option. More about HousingMore about Dining
Campus Facilities
The Bard College Berlin campus is located in the residential district of Pankow and all buildings are within walking distance, including classrooms, dorms, cafeteria, and the Factory studio arts building.
