Early College Opportunity (ECO) scholarships are available to Bard Early College students who demonstrate significant financial need and intellectual engagement. Scholarships provide partial to full tuition.

  • Bard High School Early College Queens
  • Bard High School Early College Washington, D.C.

ECO Orientation Program

ECO Scholars will participate in an expanded orientation program (including a two-week prematriculation workshop in Annandale and ongoing support and advising through the BEOP office) and will be expected to contribute to the civic life of the Annandale campus community.

Applying for the Early College Opportunity Scholarship

Bard Early College applicants who demonstrate significant financial need and intellectual engagement can apply for Early College Opportunity (ECO) scholarships, which provide funding covering up to full tuition. 

Complete the Common Application by January 1, and the ECO supplemental form as soon as you’re able. Be sure to submit the CSS Profile and FAFSA by January 1 as well. Applicants may be asked to participate in interviews, to be held in the spring. ECO applicants may also be required to participate in an interview via videoconference.

Bard Early College applicants, including ECO candidates, will receive notification decisions in the spring.
