  • The Center for Curricular Development (CFCD) offers a range of workshops and other opportunities to help new faculty navigate teaching and research at Bard. 
    • Summer workshops (on course design and on teaching writing-rich courses)
    • Lunchtime discussions (on topics such as lecturing, teaching close reading, grading, managing class discussion and “hot moments” in the classroom)
    • Evening events (on topics such as promotion, tenure, and grants writing)

  • Crite sheets: Our quick introduction to writing “crite” (criteria) sheets includes tips and samples.
  • Computing at Bard: Bard IT offers information and support for email and other campus computing services. See their guides to Brightspace and Google Classroom, Bard's learning management systems, for everything you need to add and manage an online course component.
