A Bard College financial aid package may be renewed annually as long as the proper forms are filed on time, the student or the student's family continues to demonstrate financial need, and the student remains in good academic standing. Please note that renewal applications for financial aid will not be processed until all required documents are received. See below for a list of forms and deadlines.

    Noncustodial Parent's PROFILE
Whether the parents of the applicant are divorced, separated, or were never married, the noncustodial parent will be expected to complete the Noncustodial Parent's PROFILE after the student has completed the CSS PROFILE. This form is typically required when an applicant applies for financial aid for the first time.

Verification Worksheets

Approximately 30 to 40 percent of those filing the FAFSA are selected by the federal processor to be verified; the Verification Worksheet must be submitted to confirm the size of the family's household and the number of students in college on at least a half-time basis. In addition, income must be verified for parent and student. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA or the IRS Tax Return Transcript are acceptable forms of income verification. When a financial aid offer is made, the documents required for submission will be noted in the student's award letter.
