Middle Eastern Studies Program Presents

MES Fall Film Series Screening: The Time That Remains (2009) dir. Elia Suleiman, 1h49 mins.

Semi-autobiographical, meticulously choreographed, and absurd, The Time That Remains follows the memories and the lives of a Palestinian family from 1948 onwards, a series of aborted, hollow laughs at the term “Israeli Arab.”

The screening will be followed by a discussion.
