The SLC Art of Teaching program has partnered with Bard College to host a joint information session for both SLC and Bard students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in teaching at the early childhood, elementary or secondary level. Through Bard’s MAT degree, SLC graduates can pursue certification to teach grades 7-12 in the following areas: biology, history, literature, mathematics, or Spanish. Through the Art of Teaching program at Sarah Lawrence, students can pursue NYS certification to teach birth to grade 6 general ed and birth to grade 2 special ed.
