Center for Curatorial Studies Presents
Forge Project Talks: G. Peter Jemison
Monday, October 26, 2026
CCS Bard, Classroom 102
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm EDT/GMT-4
For the third season of Forge Project Talks at CCS Bard, we have asked artists to present on an exhibition that has shaped their practices. In inviting this group of speakers—Sara Flores, Jeffrey Gibson, G. Peter Jemison, and Tanya Lukin Linklater—we are interested in exhibition histories from their perspectives: which ones have had a lasting resonance, which ones altered the course of their careers, which ones changed the cannon? In inviting these reflections, this series of talks generates a history of exhibitions from the perspective of those who are intimately a part of them.5:30 pm – 7:30 pm EDT/GMT-4
This event is part of ongoing programming co-presented by Forge Project and CCS Bard and is organized by Candice Hopkins (Carcross/Tagish First Nation), Executive Director & Chief Curator, Forge Project, and Fellow in Indigenous Art History and Curatorial Studies, CCS Bard.
