Artist Visit
Visiting Artist Baseera Khan had to postpone her visit to Bard. The talk will now be on December 3 in Fisher Seminar Room.Baseera Khan is a New York–based artist who sublimates colonial histories through performance and sculpture in order to map geographies of the future. Her work navigates the political circumstances of her identity as a femme Muslim American who grew up in Texas. She received an MFA from Cornell University and a BFA from the University of North Texas.
